About Kate Burles
Kate made the jump from Personal Assistant to Personal Trainer and has never looked back. She realised her dream of becoming a fitness instructor and personal trainer in 2008 and wants to help you realise your fitness dreams too.
Since she was a child Kate has had a keen interest in sport and fitness and for many years trained as a sprinter, competing in 100m, 200m and relay teams across the North East of England which then led on to becoming an Assistant Club Coach for her athletics club.
Kate always trained hard to reach her goals and has a keen understanding of what an individual has to undertake to reach success.
She has enjoyed many sports from rock climbing and hill walking to judo, from road running to hockey and squash to aerobics and gym work.
Kate undertook the Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing, Level 2 Certificate in Instructing Circuit Sessions and Level 3 in Personal Training at the University of Bath. She has subsequently worked both in a gym environment and the more relaxed environment of outside and in peoples’ homes.
Kate is also a qualified Level One Kettlebell Instructor.
